On Monday 12 July Year 10 had their careers day. The day started off with an inspirational talk from one of our Alumnae Natalie Morris, who is a journalist & writer and has just written her first book Mixed/Other on Explorations of Multi-raciality in Modern Britain. Her speech, reflecting on her journey to date, was inspirational and appreciated by all. This was followed by a CV writing skills session, a fun team building session with our Science technicians, a workshop delivered by our Connexions Adviser on labour market information, a session run by Barclays on Fraud and scams, and Y10 also started to record their Bios on our new careers platform, Kloodle.
