Bright Futures Educational Trust is delighted to announce that as of 1st March 2021, it has successfully merged with The Dunham Trust.
The Dunham Trust‚Äôs staff and the operation of its five schools, all based in Trafford, have moved to Bright Futures, allowing for the significant benefits of becoming coming a larger Trust. This is the right ‚Äúnext step‚ÄĚ for the continued growth, development and success for everyone involved in our schools and networks.
Closely aligned educational visions and values, focused on community, integrity and passion will ensure the long-term success of the merger and will stand us in good stead going forward together.
Our new colleagues, students, parents and partners complement the existing qualities and strengths of Bright Futures. Bringing in the expertise of four additional primaries and one special school will significantly broaden the capacity and expertise of the Trust.
We are confident that this is the right way forward for our schools and for our staff, children and young people.
John Stephens, CEO of Bright Futures Educational Trust said:¬†‚ÄėIt‚Äôs great to see Bright Futures moving forward so positively as we complete the merger with The Dunham Trust. Our continued growth, like everything else we do, is rooted firmly in our shared values.

We’re excited about welcoming new groups of staff, children and parents/carers with all their diverse talents and expertise. It’s good to be joining with others to learn and grow together, always seeking the best for everyone, the best from everyone.’
