Guidance and Support

A team of experienced staff help, and will regularly oversee, students’ progress.  Students are given guidance about the minimum grades they should be aiming for and encouraged to set and meet targets. Tutors are the first point of contact for any concerns, while Miss Lally(Head of Sixth Form), Mrs Bocquet (Senior Tutor and Higher Education Co-ordinator), and Mrs Harrison (Assistant Senior Tutor and Higher Education Co-ordinator) are available daily at the Sixth Form Centre.  Subject Tutors and Heads of Department are always willing to discuss subject specific matters.

Appointments in school are offered by Colette McLoughlin, our Connexions Personal Adviser, and students can use the careers' libraries at the Centre and Main School. Considerable guidance is offered to students completing application forms for university or employment.
