Admissions to Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level Courses

Entry to courses is by application.  Sixth formers must have a minimum of four GCSE passes at grade A and two at grade B in order to enter the Sixth Form. GCSE grades A and A* are preferred in each AS or A level course chosen, although a grade B is acceptable.

A student who has GCSE Science Dual Award must have obtained at least a grade B in the science subject they are taking through to A Level.

Exceptions to these requirements can be made by appeal in certain circumstances (e.g. illness, bereavement, equivalent qualifications).
