100% Pass Arts Award Bronze

57 girls Year 9 girls have all passed their Bronze Arts Award! The Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification (similar to the DofE in Bronze, Silver, Gold) where pupils take part, enjoy, study, improve and lead in arts activities of their choice, which may be dance, drama, music, art, craft, photography or a combination. The award has been studied as an extra-curricular activity with with Miss Duerden.

The moderator said 'Portfolios were incredibly detailed, thorough and creatively presented. The young people are clearly supported and encouraged to participate in many art forms and I was impressed by the wide range of arts events they had attended. Overall the young people's ability to reflect and articulate their learning is very high. A very high standard of work and a group of young people who clearly love their participation in the arts. Well done all round.'

Silver (Year 10) and Gold (Year 12) moderations will take place in the autumn term.
