Year 10 Geographers visit the Lake District
Last week over one hundred Year 10 Geography students spent time in the village of Grasmere collecting data for their Controlled Assessment task. The girls undertook traffic counts, questionnaires, environmental quality surveys and mapping in order to support their investigation into the challenges created by tourism in National Parks. As always the girls were enthusiastic and hard working and a number of members of the public commented on how polite and engaging they were. Remarkably, whilst the rest of the country experienced torrential downpours, we were bathed in sunshine!
