GCSE 2012

AGGS pupils have once again performed magnificently at GCSE. 100% of the girls passed 5 subjects at A* to C, including English and Mathematics. An impressive 99% of all examinations taken were graded A*to B and 88% were graded A* or A-amazing!

There are many individual success stories, including the 32 girls who achieved A* in at least 9 subjects.

Headteacher, Mrs Mary Speakman, said:

“These results are superb; I am so proud of our pupils. They have worked hard and it is wonderful to see their efforts rewarded. Well done, girls! I should also like to thank their teachers for their dedication and their commitment to excellence and the parents and carers who have supported and encouraged the girls along the way.”

We wish all our girls success as they move on to the next stage in their education.
