Why study Economics?

Economics will enable you to understand the nature of economic choices, and how economic issues, problems, and institutions affect everyday life. You will be encouraged to use an enquiring and thoughtful approach to the subject, and to develop an ability to think as an economist. To this end students participate in the Times/Bank of England’s Target 2.0 competition. This blend of theory and application often enables our students to achieve excellent careers in the field of Business Management.
