200 Club

What is it?

From an original concept of enticing 200 parents and friends of pupils to become members by contributing towards a monthly prize draw, the PTA 200 Club was formed. However, as its success has grown over the years, there is now no limit on the size of the membership nor on the number of subscribing entries per month. We actually encourage this growth because, simply put, the bigger the number of entries really means that prize money increases and more funds are raised.

How does it work?

Anyone can participate, not only parents of pupils but also their grandparents, friends, etc. Each month the numbered entries are collated for prize draw selection. Half the entry money is used for cash prizes and the other half goes into the PTA fund which is used directly for the benefit of your daughter.

When is the draw?

A draw is made during each month with the exception of August. In addition a number of bonus draws are made throughout the school year in order that the total value of prize money for the year equates to half of the total money raised. Winning numbers are posted in the following month in the PTA News section of the Bulletin on the school website. Each individual winning member will receive their prize money by cheque via school.

How do I join?

Members are invited to join for an annual subscription of £15 per entry per year. Please complete the attached Standing Order Instruction Form to authorise payment of the annual amount. We recommend and ask for the date of payment to be set during the month of October of the year in which membership commences. Finally, return the completed standing order form in an envelope, marked PTA 200 Club, to the school office. Alternatively, post it into the PTA box outside the school office.
