In June, we did two charity car washes for teachers to raise money for UNICEF. We had lots of fun and the teachers were extremely happy with the ‘AGGS Car Washing’ service!

In July, we had a teachers vs students rounders match and ‘The Great AGGS Food Sale’. Forms also raised incredible amounts of money for UNICEF through their weekly charity collections.

Earlier this academic year, we organised a cake sale for Macmillan and collected a huge number of items for the Harvest Festival, all of which have been donated to Trafford Foodbank.

On Friday 16th November, we held a cake sale for Children in Need. Many wonderful ‘Pudsey-themed’ bakes were donated and lots students also entered the raffle to win Mrs Walker’s Pudsey cake.

On Wednesday 28th November, it was Red Wednesday. We had a Red cake sale and students wore red accessories to show their support for ‘Aid to the Church in Need’ who provide aid to Christians that are persecuted and oppressed around the world due to their beliefs. We managed to raise an incredible £315 for ACNUK!

Since May 2018, we have raised an amazing £3,098.43 for several charities! There are many upcoming charity events planned and we hope you will continue to support us in raising as much money as possible for charity over the remainder of the year.
