Timetable

Under the terms of the Education Act 1998, there is a right of appeal to an Independent Appeals Panel. If you wish to exercise your right to appeal, please contact the School Admissions Officer at admissions@aggs.bfet.uk

For entry into Year 7

Parents will be told of their right to appeal via their Local Authority on National Offer Day (1st March). Parents will then need to contact Altrincham Grammar School for Girls. An Appeals Form and details  will then be issued.

All on time Appeals will be held by Tuesday 16th June 2020

All on time Appellants will receive:

At least 10 school days’ notice of their Appeal Hearing. Appeals will be held on Monday 18th May, Thursday 21st May and Friday 22nd May 2020.

Decision letters will be sent within five school days of the hearing. Where multiple days are required, decision letters will be sent within 5 days of the last hearing date.

In-year admissions appeals must be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. Details available from the Admissions Officer.

6th form conditional offer appeals must be held within 30 school days of confirmation of examination results.

Other 6th form appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline for lodging appeals.
