11th February 2019

Lakshaaya and Erin from the Media Team have interviewed the maths teacher, Mr Gough.

How are you finding life at AGGS?
I’m really enjoying it so far, all my classes are really fun to teach and the school has a lovely atmosphere.

Have you made any new friends?
Yes, I’ve made lots of new friends: some teachers and some students. Everyone is very friendly

What was your least favourite subject in school?
History because I don’t have a very good memory. I remember my teacher always telling me to put things in context and I was not very good at that.

What subjects did you do at A-Levels?
I did maths, further maths, physics, chemistry and AS Spanish.

Why did you want to be a maths teacher?
I always liked maths and I enjoyed playing around with numbers and I think it would be nice to pass that onto the next generation.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself
Outside of school, I like playing music and I enjoy rock climbing!

Do you have any advice for us?
Pay attention in lessons!
